Making Statements in Wood

Solid wood is typically utilized in the smaller blade arrangements ( up to 3.5" in height ) while class A rated No Added Formaldehyde medium density fiberboard comprises the core of the veneered grills. Our Dowel Design is typically incorporated into open plenum designs where the black dowel becomes a design element, the hardwood ( fixed PVC ( flexible ) dowell is sized to engage with our grill clip and hang from typical heavy duty 15/16" T-Grid. Blades are typically aligned in panels of 12" wide by 8" long. Arrangements of 4, 6 or 8 blades per foot are standard, with other custom arrangements available.

Dowel Design

Backer Design

Typically incorporated into ceiling designs where all the equipment and structure above the finished ceiling is painted black, the black hardwood backer holds the blades securely while disappearing into the background of the black structure above.

Finishes

Standard Species are the same as all WoodTrends Ceiling and Wall Panels. Clear satin lacquer is the standard finish with custom staining available.
